Effective part of keeping teeth healthy!
These chew are effective in reducing tartar buildup and breath odor, although don't expect a miracle, you still need to brush your dog's teeth and have your vet do a dental cleaning, as needed. I have to admit that I do not brush my dog's teeth because it's too traumatic an experience for both of us. These chews do help a lot, but vet checkups are super important! My dog also loves these, I wish she ate them slower, but she does chew on them.

Noticeable Results and Worth Every Penny!
These OraVet dental chews have made a real difference in my dog’s breath and oral health, and they’re now a daily staple in our routine. The thickness is just right — not too hard, not too soft — so my small dog actually chews them instead of swallowing them whole, which helps the cleaning action really work. After just a couple of weeks, I noticed less buildup on her teeth and her breath was much fresher. For a month’s supply, the value for money is totally worth it, especially compared to costly vet cleanings. Plus, she thinks they’re a treat, so there’s no struggle getting her to take it. If you're serious about your pup’s dental health, these are a smart and easy investment.

Works but soft poo
Seems to work well so far for the 1 month we’ve used it. Full serving makes the poop a bit soft and green for some dogs.

Great but....
Good product that my 11 lbs chihuahua loves to eat. Only issue is not with the item but the way my dog chews them. It only gets the back teeth and not the front because of the shape and way my dog can grasp it. Where it does reach though, the vet says his teeth look great. Where it doesn't reach, we had to have a professional teeth cleaning.

When you give a dog a bone
My dog is obsessed! He is older and doesn’t have the strongest teeth but these are perfect. They don’t leave a green mess in our house which is a plus compared to other dental chews! The size matters so be sure to get the right size for your pup- too big or small I think would result in choking.

Save vet bills
I have a dog that will not allow me to brush her teeth. So, I thought I would take a chance on these, since it says it keeps the bacteria from growing up on the teeth. I was concerned that she wouldn’t like them because she’s very finicky. However, she does like them. So we’ll see how they do. I have a second little dog that had to have some teeth out. I’m not sure if he’s able to eat these, so I have to check with the vet first. As he just had the teeth done and he healing. I certainly hope it does what it says it does because dental bills for dogs are outrageously expensive!

Veterinarian Recommended
These were recommended by our veterinarian as we're not good at brushing our dogs' teeth. The dogs love them! Gives our dogs periodic green poo. Definitely helps with their breath.

Choking hazard??
I ordered the right size for my dog. Each piece is 2-1/2 inches long. That’s pretty long to fit whole in a dog’s mouth, especially for a small 10 pound dog. It took a while for my dog to chew it. I was scared he’d swallow it whole and choke. The next time I cut it in half and I was still scared he’d swallow it whole. I will have to cut it now into 4 pieces, to get peace of mind. I view this definitely as a choking hazard, so all buyers should be warned.
