I got these for my Mexican candy drinks and they were a hit! Everyone wanted one. IThey act as a straw if you eat the candy on the side of it. The tamarind candy is fresh and delicious. There were a couple that had some fruit pits mixed in with the pulp so be cautious when eating them because you could possibly chip a tooth. But I would still give these a 5 star rating because they taste great and you get more than enough for a party. I would recommend them!

I open the packages today. Each individually wrapped and they were fresh like brand new. It was nice to be able to give a few to friends being that they were individually wrapped. I tried them in beer and really didn't like it that much. I think in a mangonada then it would be a very nice addition. Even if you just eat it as a snack off the straw, it's gooey and a spicy delectableness. I really like how much work and labor must have gone in to making this product. I also like the wrappers --- as it is bright, yellow and yellow equals "happy". I recommend this brand as it is real tamarind. MoOthers can be imitations of tamarind. It took a lot of research before I found and landed on this one.

Omg my favorite ! These are the ones with chili powder just like the ones from back in the days, they are extremely fresh and soft and the spice level is on point just like the originals from back in the days.

I tried this exact candy at a restaurant, and I loved it so much I decided to purchase them, I'm so glad I did they tasted better then the restaurant. They came in a container of 30, and were on sale for a great price. They also tasted so fresh and delicious definitely going to make another purchase soon .

These are super good!! Just have a old taste at the bottom a bit but otherwise I love them.

These are amazing!!! I'm new to the Mangonada scene and wanted to try my hand at making them at home. I researched the available products on Amazon and selected this brand because despite the price, they had the best reviews. When they arrived I was blown away by how long the straws are as well as the generous amount of fresh, delicious, addictive fruit on the straw. This is the best that I've had in my limited experience. I enjoy these just by themselves and have to refrain from over-indulging. I will be ordering again.

I have tried many tamarind/chili candy sticks. This is by far my least favorite. As you can see in images from other reviews, this one is mushy, miscolored, looks like it was applied to the stick by hand, etc. Maybe that's because it is more "natural" and "hand-crafted," but if that's the case I prefer my slightly less healthy but better tasting and less suspicious looking. Just personal preference. I will be re-ordering some of my previous orders.

When I originally ordered these sticks, I had no idea i was going to be getting a whole lot of candy on a stick! These taste SO good. I came across one similar at a birthday party and I just had to have more. I didnt search for the exact brand because I wanted to see what I could find; you know, best bang for your buck, and Banderilla did not disappoint! For the price you get so much candy on 30 sticks! I bought these to share with my father-in-law and I know I will score some brownie points for doing so. I HIGHLY recommend these. SO GOOD!!
