Great for tough drains
I purchased this product to unclog a difficult drain. I have used Red Devil Lye in the past but it has become incredibly hard to find so I took a chance on this product. It worked very well and I will certainly order again when needed.

can't open more than once!
I bought three bottles of this product. the first was fine, the second and third bottle could only be used once . The bottle's safety feature broke after opening once, not allowing me to reopen the cap. VERY FRUSTERATING!!!

Followed directions properly being it was a dangerous product. Nothing happened. Do not waste your money. Drano would work better!

Actually lye, not a liquid
I ordered lye from a different seller and it was not the right thing so I’m glad that I ordered this and it came correctly

Use goggles/gloves when using, and keep vinegar close to neutralize if it gets on you

Clogged my sink like a brick
I followed package directions but for a small mishap. As I was waiting to pour in the hot water , I began cleaning up the kitchen and poured out about a half of a glass of watered down tea which was cold and had a little ice in it. I knew the instant that I did it and flushed with hot water but it was too late, Do not waste your money or risk your plumbing.
