Excellent Bike - Peloton for a tenth of the price.
Quality commercial grade bikes have 4 things - belt drive, robust bottom bracket, heavy fly wheel, magnetic resistance. This bike has 3/4. Which, the magnetic resistance is more novel than necessity. With a belt drive, 40# flywheel, and strong bottom bracket, you'd need to spend $800 - $1200 to find a bike comparable to this one. After having had Sunny bikes, which served me well, this Marcy is a definite step up (within the price range, as stated above).I'm 6'3" my wife is 5'2" - this bike easily accommodates both of us. Also, if you've had other spin bikes, you probably are aware you can remove material from the bottom of the seat and handlebar brackets in order to get them to drop down into the frame further. As for the arm rests - if you're more used to spinning than road bike training, they can be annoying. I fixed this by removing the arm rests and installing tennis racket grip on. Works excellent.Additionally, I've always replaced the stock saddle with a Cloud 9 seat on all our spin bikes. Make sure to get the woman's version, as the male will be too big for proper leg movement, if you share the bike with your wife/gf/etc.Peloton releasing their app has to be one of the worst business models known to man. I would have bought a Peloton, if the app were not out. If you have a non-Peloton, simply get the app. To run on a big screen go ipad/iphone --> Apple Air --> Apple TV. My wife likes to use bluetooth wireless headphones while using the big screen. This is an great choice, buy with confidence.

My first indoor cycle!
First off, Amazon guys did a stellar job delivering my bike by my garage!So.. the bike is well protected by styrofoam and tapes. But... chicken butt.. I was disappointed that it came sorta dirty; minor issues ( e.g. seat and handle) but you know..It's easy to assemble and they come with the tools you need. Allen wrench is not perfect but it will do.The bike looks and feels great just like the photos shown on Amazon but my biggest disappointment is that the finish is not the best and somewhat feels cheap and professional at the same time. Overall, it feels sturdy though and quiet. However, when you increase the resistance, you'll hear the wool and metal creating friction but not loud enough to drive you nuts.Caution: it's quite heavy so handle it safely and carefully.I originally wanted a magnetic resistance bike but this will do.Flywheel (40lbs) gives you good resistance and you can definitely feel it.Pedals are plastic and more or less flat so you can ride the bike without the shoes if that rocks your boat. For your reference, I am about 65" tall and I am very comfortable with the handlebars. I thought the handlebar was going to be too flat but it's actually working out well. I will, however, add additional handlebars to meet my preference. The seat is as comfortable as it will get.. no big deal. I will survive.Otherwise, I am happy with the bike. Almost a 5-star indoor cycle (belt-driven/wool resistance).

Sturdy and strong easy to assemble
Pros: Good bike, does the job. You get what you pay for. A good price for what it does. It’s a basic spin bike, strong, sturdy. Cons: seat is too small, not a good fit for me. The pedals are not equipped for clip on (spd clips) . I’ll probably eventually replace the seat and the pedals

Questionable sturdiness/build quality but overall not bad for value
Assembly is pretty straight forward, not difficult if you look over parts. Not sure if I got unlucky and they mishandled the package or the builds of the mainframe come with imperfections here and there. Where the mainframe connects to the back stabilizer is severely bent so one bolt didn't go in fully which seems alright for now, but I'm questioning the longevity of the product since the mainframe came in bent to begin with. Box was a bit banged up, but I wouldn't think a few bumps and drops could cause the metal to bend to that degree. First test run was solid. Handles are not aligned or uniform, so it's a bit uncomfortable since I have to lean to one side more than the other. Doesn't bother me enough to warrant a return, but feel there may be people more bothered by this

Excellent spin bike
I'm highly impressed with this spin bike. It is easy to assemble, stylish and solidly built to last. This spin bike is exactly what I wanted and it is much easier on the wallet than other bikes I was considering.

Good quality - but too much distance between pedals
This is a solid spin bike overall. Packaging was very protective (no damage) and assembly was straightforward. Everything was included and functions as it should. I am impressed with the overall build of the bike....there is just one issue, and it happens to be a fairly big one.The distance between the pedals of this bike (Q factor) is simply too wide. This is not OK. I am unsure how a major manufacturer could have overlooked something so glaring. I did a lot of research prior to making this purchase, but this is not something I could have known prior to unpacking the bike. For reference:Q-Factor 110mm to 140mm (Too Narrow)Q-Factor 140mm to 170mm (Narrow)Q-Factor of 170mm to 210mm (Wide)Q-Factor of 210mm and Above (Too Wide)The Q factor on this bike is over 220mm. Well into the "too wide" territory. The Cons of a Q factor this wide: Decreased pedaling efficiency, discomfort for most (if not all) body types...and eventually if you ride a lot, pain and/or injury.Because this is such a large item, I really do not have many options in terms of recourse or return...and I don't think I could sell this bike locally with a clear conscience. It's just a bummer overall...everything else about the bike is just fine. SO, if you are reading through reviews trying to find a good spin bike, hopefully you took the time to read this review and it has helped in some way. I would look elsewhere, there is no way to remedy a Q factor like this.
