very good drill bits long lasting i would buy them again

Works good for trailer board bolts. It’s the perfect size.

We're putting up a large steel building that requires pre-drilling holes for over 4,000 screws. We tried all the brands from all the big box stores. After depleting their stock (small town, limited supply) I searched online and ordered bits from a few different sellers to compare. These have been the best of the bunch. We're on our 4th box. They just seem sharper and last SO much longer. Not to mention the $ saved compared to paying $3-4 a piece at the store. And yes we're rough on them, we don't have the time or patience to baby them. We chew them up and spit them out. So for us these have been the best and I'll order more if we need them. Thank you.

UPDATE: The company reached out to me in an attempt to make things right. So thumbs up for good customer service. I have another trailer that I will be working on and so they sent me another pack of the drill bits. I will see if they work any better on this project and will update after I see what happens. Updated to 3 stars for good customer service.Original Review: I bought these drill bits to use while I was re-decking my snowmobile trailer so I needed to be able to drill through a 2x6 and then angle iron. I would drill through the wood then pour a little bit of tap magic into the holes and on the drill bit before drilling through the angle iron. I bought a pack of 10 thinking I would need 3 or 4 to do the entire trailer (144 holes total) well I made it through the first 5 holes and then broke a bit, put in a new one and a few holes later broke another bit. needless to say before I was even halfway done with the trailer I had a box with 8 broken bits and 2 that dulled out enough I couldn't get them to cut anymore. I ended up going to ace hardware and bought a few milwaukee drill bits and 2 bits got me through the entire second half of the trailer. Needless to say these bits were super brittle and didn't hold a sharp edge long.

Five for $15. Turns out that's a little high. But that's okay. Bought them as they were referred to go with something else I bought. We are putting new boards on our 27' trailer. We have put maybe 30 screws in the trailer and all 5 of these bits are already dull. We're barely half way through the job. I started to give these 1*, but since we did get 30 holes drilled I figure that's more than 0, so that's the 2* rating. If they didn't drill any, how would I give less than 1*...so that's the logic. But I would rather waste my money trying another brand or buying more for less to burn through if that's how it works. Incidentally, the first bit drilled half the holes. The other 4 burnt up over the next half of the holes we drilled.

Great product.. needed it for custom car work... cuts through metal easily

These bits are awesome! I used one bit to drill through this trailer to re-deck it. That was 40 holes through angle iron and it was still sharp to drill more! The steel was hard enough that it took an impact to drive the bolts through the hole, so it wasn’t soft metal. I finally threw the first one away yesterday, after drilling 6 more holes in my steel gate to mount a tension cable. I wouldn’t have even thrown that one away yet if I didn’t have 9 more!

Great bits held up to 100 holes per bit through wood and steel as fast as you can go

I used these to drill galvanized pipes used for a fence. Drilled twelve 3/8" holes with only a spray of WD40 on the drill bit between each hole and the tip is still very sharp. I destroyed three much more expensive drill bits on similar holes a few weeks ago. Very pleased by the quality of this product.
