Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box, Automatic Cat Litter Box for Multiple Cats, Integrated Safety Protection with Open-Top Design

We have now had this for two months. I was skeptical at first reading all the different robotic self cleaning litter box reviews. This one had some i was concerned about but we took a chance as it seemed the safest for a cat.We have 6 cats and we needed a litter box that could keep the litter clean after each use. You can hear that it waits for a few minutes after the cat leaves and then does a cleaning cycle. The cats were curious at first but quickly adapted and loved the new box. We still have a couple of old ones so they could adapt. They prefer this one as it stays clean.With 6 cats and sometimes a visiting cat of my daughters we only have to empty this every three days! The odor is gone too! I prefer every day to every other day just for sanitary odor reasons but when we left my husband alone he didnt change it for those three days and shockingly no odor.This has been the best most helpful electronic investment we have ever made for our pets. Talk about making life easier!Now that we have tested this out we are adding a second one to replace our old fashion one in our laundry room. Plus my daughter is now getting one for her place. I may start buying these as Christmas gifts!!!Plus the price for these was way better than most! Love love this!The only draw back we've had is sometimes the cat will miss the edge of the litter box, which leaves a fun cleaning experience. Plus the cats still spill litter outside of it. I just sweep it up every other day and its all good.

Dealing with cat litter is a horrible chore. It's even worse in a multi-cat household. Immediately after setting this up, all of my cats took to it naturally, but not all of them fit into it. My largest and oldest cat jumped right into it and then jumped back out because part of this litter box overhangs the litter area, and it was obvious that it was making it a crowded and constricting area, and therefore not a comfortable situation for him. My other cats are smaller and it wasn't a huge concern for them.It is fairly quick (and quiet) when it dumps the waste, directly into a lined tray underneath. this liner has a drawstring on it, allowing a virtual hands-off experience when emptying the litter. Ah! Nirvana.The drawbacks, for me, are size for one, but he is a big cat, so I can't really fault that. A normal sized cat does have a problem with it. For another, there is no indicator showing how much waste is in the tray, and so, if left too long, the waste will rub the rotating barrel and leave marks on it of.....you know what. The last thing I noticed is that the buttons are open and accessible to my cat, who likes to stand on them, which sometimes causes a fault to appear, but mostly just activates what I would envision is a plaything to her. She is a human in a catlike-form sent to annoy me.So, I'm conflicted on how many stars to give because of some of the issues, but then again it works perfectly and my cat is big. Just beware of this if you buy this.

I do animal rescue and over time I've collected 5 cats. I adore every one of them, but the problem is, I hate mess, particularly animal mess. I've been cleaning litter boxes up to 5 times a day, but it still smells gross and I've been miserable.I was reluctant to get this, because from the description it didn't appear to be able to keep up with 5 cats, but in my desperation, I took a chance, and I'm so grateful that I did!!! I selected this one because I have a huge male cat (25ish lbs and 36 inches from nose to tail tip). I hoped that with the large opening he would fit in it ok. I also have a partially blind cat and worried that she'd be afraid of a more enclosed box. This litter box accommodates them both, plus the other 3 cats.There's no smell from the waste collected by the machine, the litter box is always clean, and the receptacle box is large enough that it only has to be emptied every 3 days or so.I feared the cats would be too afraid to use it. They're all total scaredy-cats, but they were fascinated by it, and within a few days, they were all using it, and I was able to remove the other boxes.Also, the safety settings work well and the machine stops if one of the cats jump in as it begins a cleaning cycle.If you have an obscene number of cats like I do, and have no desire to part with any of them, do yourself a favor and buy this!!!!!

Solid entry level product with a few quirk's.Product arrived in a good box in good condition and was easy to assemble. There is no phone app or extra bells and whistles, which is less things to go wrong. But you can’t tell how often the machine has been used as there is no counter.Please be advised that if a power failure occurs while you are away, the machine will not turn back on automatically when the power is restored. So if you do have an outage while you’re away for a couple days, there will be a buildup.I have also noticed that the sieve allows small poop pellets about the size of a Pea to pass through and not get dumped. If the site of these bits is not acceptable to you, suggest you get a fully enclosed unit.About a minute after the cat has done their business, or you press the manual clean button , the machine will do a half turn without dumping , then return to the Home position . It then does a full dump cycle. I assume this is to ensure that the business is coated with litter so it doesn’t stick during the fall dumping cycleThe cats had no problem adjusting to the higher entry boxI like the Mat that came with the unit to but it’s a bit small.Four out of five stars mainly because of the power failure issue
