I couldn't get USB 3.0 with my Quest 3 trying several cables, until I got this one.And yes, it charges, while playing.Don't pay $80 for the Official Quest Link Cable!Update: I ended up returning it. The cable itself was great, so I'm leaving the 5-star review.The problem is the Meta Quest Link software that you're forced to use with a cable. It's garbage. Buggy, jank, inconsistent...totally frustrating.I spent $25 on Virtual Deskop and it works 100% better.

I've been using this cable for nearly a year now. I ordered this in March of 2024, and it has been running fantastically for all this time. It's been able to provide sufficent power to prevent power drop during 2-3 hour game sessions in VR titles such as Beat Saber, SteamVR, and VRChat, with a good connection! I use the Meta Quest 3, and this has solved my power supply problems!However lately, I've been having some weird issues regarding the charging of the cable towards my headset. For the past few days, the charging has been hesitant to work. It came out of the blue, and I'm still working on if it's the issue with the cable, or something that Meta updated on the headset's software that caused this problem.I would still reccomend this cable though. It's fantastic for what you need!

Great link cable, great price. Works great with the quest 3. The charging speed of the link cable alone isn't great unless you use the included charging port attached to the cable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper link cable for their quest..

Had it for 18 days and the cord is still good, it doesn't randomly disconnect and the charging while playing feature is pretty good, so all around a good cord and take care of it, I'd bet it'll last years

Great length and charges quickly

When I got it, it looked like the packaging was cheap but I wasn’t gonna let that scare me so I took out and set it up to test it and oh my it’s probably the best thing ever. Before I would stutter a lot but figured out I just had bad pc specs and wasn’t the previous cables fault hence I upgraded so if you have stutters that’d probably why but I’m not a tech expert. Ran smooth the whole time and stayed at a high battery percentage which was perfect because usually my head set would die in like 2-3 hours but basically this cable is awesome and does its job. I used the meta power adapter with an Apple usb c-c cable to charge it while I played. It feels much better to have a smooth display and not having to worry about the battery 👌.

This cable works great for what you want it to do pcvr and keep the quest 3 charged but I noticed after the second day of use I got a debris warning and just today am noticing that the battery not only did not just stay but dropped one and am only complaining now because when I first got it it kept it at whatever I started playing but now it’s dropping so now am kinda of sad because I feel as if it’s gonna get worse I am using the normal quest 3 charger and brick if I can get a new cable as I still have Warranty on it
