Good Product
I bought this gauge to measure thread pitches between 1 and 1.75mm and it does the job perfectly. Many reviewers question the quality of Silverline products but I can't fault this one. It is accurate and, given that it will not be used every day, it should last a lifetime. The tool caters for 20 different thread sizes covering a far greater range than most people will ever need. For the few pounds which this gauge costs, anyone who is restoring old machinery should buy one; it will save you far greater cost if you strip threads by guessing the size of a bolt or screw. This tool is great value for money.

Good value
Recently i've needed to know the pitch of screw threads while rebuilding a couple of bikes, and also while doing work on my car.It's always been the one measuring item i've not had and i really should have bought one of these years ago considering how much hassle it's saved me for just a few quid!Reasonably well made and accurate. Does the job for me!

Useful little tool
I needed a screw pitch measured in a hurry and this litle tool fitted the bill. Inexpensive, easy to use. It will remain in the toolbox.
