This yarn bowl is very well made and simply beautifully crafted. Will make an impressive gift for a knitter. Get the large size rather than the small.

The bowl is beautiful, but stinks of mold. The smell of the bowl does not take away from it's beauty and usefullness.

I thought this yarn holder was a bit expensive when I finally broke down and ordered it. But it's worth evey dollar I paid for it. I'm using it every day now since I'm busy crocheting afghans for Christmas gifts. Whoever made this lovely yarn bowl, is a true craftsman/woman. It's so beautiful it could sit alone on a shelf just to be admired. I love it and happy I finally broke down and bought it.

The bowl was beautiful and of great quality. However, it had a horrible smell. I was like it had been on a shelf for 100 years.

It’s a very pretty wooden bowl. I agree with some previous reviews about the rough edges. I will be sanding the edges of the area where the yarn threads through. The bottom of the bowl is very slick. When pulling the yarn the bowl comes along for the ride.

I bought the medium bowl, and it’s great. BUUUUT the biggest bowl would be best for most skeins of yarn. Mixed bag?

Firstly awful service from this company based in India. Promised delivery for Christmas and let down badly. Had to chase it up in the New Year and still took a long time to deliver.Secondly the quality was shocking. They clearly rushed these out due to delivery issues - the holes cut were not finished properly leaving many little wood shavings in the bowl and rough edges that would have shredded any wool.Shame as it would have been a lovely Christmas present for my Mum.

Arrived damaged (area around swirl snapped off completely), and upon closer inspection, even if this hadn't been the case I wouldn't have been happy with paying this amount of money for the poor quality finish of this bowl. Drilled decorative holes and swirl edges not sanded down at all - I'd imagine there'd have been a lot of snagging incidents if the bowl was actually functional.Really disappointed and won't be buying a replacement from this company.

I love the pattern of this yarn bowl, the colour etc. Unfortunately it’s not been smoothly finished off, so the yarn keeps catching on all the holes and especially where you thread the yarn through, it’s been a bit of a pain to use as it keeps snagging the yarn. I’ve now stopped using that part where you thread the yarn and use it as a bowl, the wool occasionally jumps out. So not really used to it’s full potential.

Looks lovely, and overall it's nice and shiny, but the edges are so rough that it would snag your wool.Had to sand it and re-varnish, which was not expected.I would never have bought this in a shop, as the quality was so poor.This is the big problem with buying online, sellers can sell stuff that's sh##y quality, and get away with it.

Bought this for my daughter in law, she's into crochet and natural wood, she loves it! She says the curve is really smooth letting the yarn flow freely and still looks decorative when in use. Considering one for me!
