I like these perches better than the wood ones especially for travel carriers. It gives my buddy a better grip. He goes to work every day and appreciates the solid feel of these. Yes I make my bird go to work. He's been employee of the month for two plus years.

It's a neat little rope my bird love it

35 years ago, my Amazon parrot would have torn this to shreds within a week or two. He is elderly now, and needs an easier way to perch, this gives him a sturdy place to grasp onto. I have bought several of these and put them adjacent to his wood perches so he has different textures and areas to hang out on. He gravitates towards these, and now that he is not in his “tear everything up” years, they are perfect, durable, and all that is needed for him.

The list of parrots was very vague so I hoped it would fit a larger Bird. It’s very thin. I returned it.

My 2 parakeets love this rope perch. I bought the 41" for their new long cage, and even though they still have their wooden perches that they used to use, in the cage, they constantly just use this one. They run side to side on it from 1 end of the cage to another. It's so funny to watch them. I have a tree perch in their cage they used to never get off of. But now that this rope perch is in there, they won't get off of it! I highly recommend this.

It's long enough to install as a lengthwise perch in our lovebird's flightcage. And, it's big enough that it could be used by a larger bird without cramping their feet. Being "wired," it must be surface-only cleaned or the wire will rust, but I already have a few of those and keeping them clean is simply a daily chore. Would definitely buy this again. :)

The rope was the length advertised but the diameter was much too small. We couldn't even attach it to our Jardine's Parrot's cage.

This was the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon. I bought 2 and they came with the ends detached on both of them. My daughter tried to add some crazy glue to stick them in but it didn't work and then she tried tape but it couldn't be stuck back in the ends there is no way to fix this. I am out over $40.00 and the thick wire isn't even in the center of the rope so you cant even bend it properly.
