Worth the Buy
While pricier than I would like there is no denying just how convenient and useful this stick is. This is especially great for those with eczema, rough or dry skin patches, "itchy" spots for kids, small scrapes, and many more.I originally bought this thinking I would use it for diaper rash, and while Aquaphor has been absolutely amazing for persistent and severe diaper rash, I actually ended up using this in a a variety of ways I wasn't expecting. The stick goes on smooth and easy. It glides on almost like a giant lip balm. There is no noticeable scent. You can put it on as is or put it on and rub it in. It absorbs well but you definitely feel it on your skin until it fully dries or absorbs. It acts much more like vaseline than a lotion so keep that in mind.I have purchased this a few times, both through Amazon and regular store. Price when I purchased this was the same as the store I get it at so the price is consistent and lower than other places I have looked.

Wonderful Occlusive, very versatile product.
Love this item, does everything it's supposed to. This is a stick made of 30% petrolatum, which is an occlusive (it helps the skin seal in moisture). I usually use this as part of a two-part lotion routine where I use first use a urea-based product (humectant and emollient to attract and retain moisture, as well as to soften and smooth the skin), and then use this product to keep everything sealed in. This has done wonders for my skin - it has been more effective than using either product alone. I feel like my skin is plumper and more glowy. I don't use hyaluronic acid products, but the use of two moisturizers make it look like I've just used an HLA product (and its safer too).Lately, I've been using the stick as a lip balm . . . I've seen other reviews that decry the product as being too expensive for the amount that is given, however, using this product as a lip balm actually makes me view this item as being a huge value. I used to purchase a lip balm specifically made for the lips, and paid $18. With daily use, the balm only lasted about a month. While the stick is quite large to use for the lips - I'm able to use it several times daily, and it will last months at a time. If one were looking to cover the entirety of their body with this stick, I can see how someone would consider the amount of this product wanting. When using as a lotion, I only use this as a sealant after using another product for moisturizing, and in doing so, have been able to make it last. When using this as a lip balm, I have to purchase a new one every two and a half months. When using as an all-over lotion, I purchase a new one every three to three-and-a-half months.

This Aquaphor balm has extra moisture properties
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because a makeup artist used it under the eyes before concealer, and said it made the concealer last longer and not go into fine lines. It went viral. I bought it and it turned out to be true for me. And I’m older. Read the labels on different Auquaphor products, even other tubes, this larger lip/body balm has extra moisturizing ingredients that make it different, in my opinion.Actually, I’m running low and need to buy more. The tube lasts forever.♾️

The actual best!
I am so thrilled that Aquaphor made their ointment into a portable bomb stick. I love the product, and it is so convenient to put in my bag or next to my bed before I go to sleep. This also works very well under my eyes before I place concealer to help avoid it from settling into fine lines and wrinkles. I would buy this over any retinol I stick. Highly recommend.

Love this stuff
I love these stupid expensive sticks. I've been using them for 2 years now and you really can't beat the convenience of Aquaphor in a portable, no-mess format. I feel like the packaging is a bit wasteful, however, as there is enough space for at least double the amount of product inside the tube. The price per ounce is very high, as well, yet I keep buying these. They save my skin during the hot, dry summers, and cold, wind-chapping winters. My most recent purchase was a Prime Day deal which offered a discount on a 2-pack: one regular stick and one stick formulated for babies. The regular stick arrived fine, but the baby stick arrived without a safety seal, with the label having been peeled off and replaced, and with what looked like a fingerprint smudged on the product itself. Gross. Amazon did immediately ship out a replacement, however, and I just have to go return the first one now. I'm just a little concerned over the fact that I received a skincare product that was previously opened and returned, especially one meant to be applied to baby skin.

helpful with chafing from everyday fitness
I love this stick version of the ointment. I use it for chafing from wearing shorts, and also for swimsuit chafing because I swim long distances. It's easy to apply, doesn't feel too sticky like Vaseline, and it's odorless and compact.
