Disappointed. The bell is smaller than I thought it would be and the hanging bracket looks like it was returned and is bent! The finish on the bracket is poor and there are black areas where there is no finish.

When my brass bell arrived it had a dent in its rim. I contacted “Buckingham” and very friendly & helpful Mr Ijaz Ahmed requested I send it back and they would replace it. They refunded my postage and so pleased was I with the replacement bell that I then ordered and received a second stunning 7 inch bell. These bells are great. Solid and heavy with a terrific ring to them. Ideally it’s better to replace the rather weak wire “S Hook” that attaches the white rope to the actual bell, with a stronger metal “S Hook” purchased cheaply from any decent DIY store. My wife and I really love these very good value, beautiful, solid brass ships bells. We are mounting ours at either end of our hilltop farmhouse in Tuscany to summon us down to lunch from working our olive trees on our hillside terraces. A great product and fantastic & speedy service from the excellent MR Ijaz Ahmed at “Buckingham”. I recommend these lovely bells to anyone interested. Thank you very much “Buckingham”.Mr Andrew Bruce
