You’ll want a bigger mat then what is preselected to go with this. I can’t get both sides to sit flat on my roof. Checked multiple times to make sure everything was put together right and square but still can’t make it happen. 16x16x2 Paver stones do well. Less trips then the 11 it recommended haha.

This is great for a peak roof. I took 1 star off because of the quality of the bolts. The 1/2 inch bolt-head-size was slightly off (1/2 inch socket would not go over it all the way)..and had to use channel-locks.The bolt-heads that make contact with the roof are carriage bolts with rounded heads. You should definitely buy a "pad" to put between this thing and the roof.You could build this yourself, but the time/energy probably isn't worth it. At the end of the day, it is a frame that lets you put cinder blocks in it. But it works.I put 8 blocks in, 4 each side. Mine are the solid blocks. I am in a windy place, but it looks like it'll hold up just fine.

Received in a timely manner. Set-up was easy. Worked on my pitched roof well. Did everything I needed it to do. Seems fairly secure. I placed 10 regular sized cinder blocks and 1 half block within the frame base.

We have had no problems with this mount. It is sturdy enough for our equipment.

Excellent product for mounting microwave or satellite dishes on a peaked roof. We will be getting more in the future.
