I have used V4ink for my two HP LaserJet M477 series printers in the past, but recently switched to another 3rd party solution because we had an issue with one batch and felt the overall color wasn't as vibrant as we wanted. We were happier with the new solution, but still felt it was a bit weak in certain colors. Recently V4ink asked if we would be willing to try their revised version of the cartridges we use. They claimed it has a better ink formula and we would like it.I was a bit skeptical, but I agreed to give it a try. Actually, I will be switching back to V4ink! The color, especially the grays, are much better with the V4ink. Both produce vibrant colors, but the grays on the other 3rd party ink is "yellow". You can clearly see this on the pictures. See the pictures and judge for yourself.Additionally, I like the single box with all the cartridges that are clearly marked and accessible. Other companies send individual boxes for each color (more work to open and harder to figure out what colors have been used). My only improvement would be the other company puts a small color dot on the cartridge top so you can easily identify what cartridge is what in the tray. They have a color label but it is on the underside of the cartridge. This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.I also appreciate their tech support. Very responsive to my inquiries via email.Overall, I am very happy with V4ink's new revision of the 410x cartridges and will be switching back.NOTE: The image was a download from the internet. I printed it on the same paper using the same application on the same printer. The only thing that was changed were all 4 ink cartridges.

Edit 4/30/2019 Just ordered this again as I could not get the other aftermarket toner I have been using. The color on these isn't vivid at all. Will only buy these as last option.Edit 3/20/18 After moving around toner cartridges from the 3 sets I purchased i finally have a set that is performing satisfactorily. I was issued a refund for 1 set of toner that I requested a refund for. Warranty for this product is great, and according to communications with seller they are working on engineering and quality issues. For this I give 3 stars.Edit 3/13/18 Replacement toner flooded copier with yellow toner all over the inside. Ruined prints with full page yellow color. These replacement lasted about 1500 prints before the yellow broke. Replaced this toner with one of the older ones of the same brand. Will search for another aftermarket or maybe genuine HP toner. Will not buy these again, and will pursue refund.Edit 3/12/18 I was contacted by the seller and they promptly sent a full replacement set for my printer. The replacement set outperforms my originally received set. The colors are still not as bright as genuine HP cartridges, but there are no random line or streaks as of yet. The toner seems to last forever for some reason. I would not recommend these for use where excellent quality prints are needed, or would make your company look bad. These are great budget toners for good quality printing and they have no problem providing warranty support.A few of the toner cartridges leave random spots when printing. For my needs this may be acceptable for the low price. The main problem is the lack of brightness of the prints. my cartridges have more than half remaining toner and the prints are very light in color. I replaced the cartridges with another set of the same brand I ordered and they are still very dim.

I am very satisfied with this ink. To start, I have a HP LaserJet Pro M477fdw. I bought the printer 3 months ago and used the HP provided starter toner cartridges. Never had streaking issues, color fading or any issues where a print out looked anything but awesome. I also buy 96 brightness paper, 24lbs. Home schooling and small business use, along with occasional pictures printed on same paper. Bought V4INK because it had better reviews, and some negative of course, than some of the other non-HP brand toner. I followed all the instructions V4INK provided, shake, pull off protective strips, clean off excess toner on end where strip came out, etc. The instructions were identical for how I needed to change the settings in the printer to accept non-HP toner cartridges, so I didn't have any surprises there. Put all four cartridges into our printer and watched it 'calibrate' and 'clean' itself. Yes the note popped up stating I am using a non-HP cartridge, clicked okay. I had the awareness to have an identical 8x10 photo printed from our original HP toner, then printed same photo with V4INK cartridges.I understand what others are saying about how the color isn't as vibrant, dark, whatever word you would like to use. Comparing the photos side by side, it's obvious, but not horrific as I thought it may be. Every color is simply 'lighter'. It's not discolored in any way, red is red, green is green, and so on. But it's not as dark. We've used it for a few weeks now and I haven't seen ANY streaks, powder residue, discoloration or anything out of the normal. For the $, I will be buying these again. I won't pay the same price of 4 V4INK cartridges for 1 HP cartridge. My family has no issues with the color being lighter, they just want to be able to print everything they desire. At this price, I let them print anything they want. It's a real winner for me.In conclusion, if you print many color photos, whether work or leisure, this will not look as vibrant. Please buy HP brand to get the full potential for those photos. If you're in my situation where kids are printing school projects, work binders with color logos, headers, graphs, occasional pictures...then you'll be satisfied with V4INK.
