NuproProtective Comfort Grip for Kindle Paperwhite - Purple

Makes Paperwhite grippable. Fits really close, adding no noticeable bulk. Button use takes a little more effort but I'm getting used to it. The Kindle is much more pleasant to use.After some months of use, I did find that pushing the power button was something of a pain-in-the-thumb, particularly when I had to hold it down to put the Kindle to sleep. So I cut out the button with a utility knife and made the hole even a little larger, more like the hole for the recharge port, and using that button is now as easy as it is with a naked Kindle.This in no way condones nor rejects Kindle nudity. I see that as a personal choice.

I'm not a fan of the folio/"book-style" cases for the kindle paperwhite, so I picked this up as an alternative. This case is exactly what I was looking for. It's made of the kind of TPU that many simple smartphone cases are also made from, and adds the same level of grip. The back has a broad "stripe" of rougher texture down the middle, with a smooth, tacky plastic texture along the sides. I find that the case adds very little weight, but adds just enough depth to the paperwhite that it becomes easier to grip one-handed. The case fits very snugly, like a second skin on the kindle.The colored variants of this case are also very attractive! I'd ordinarily stick with black or grey, but went with the green case from NuPro -- and I haven't regretted it at all.

I wanted something that would make my kindle feel a little sturdier. Like I didn’t have to be scared to take it places. This case is exactly what I was looking for! Still light enough to read at night and doesn’t hurt when I fall asleep and it hits me in the face. But feels like my kindle is protected

This cover is too hard and stiff. While it feels nice to the touch and adds holdability to the Kindle, its stiffness makes it nearly impossible to push the on/off switch. I tried cutting out that button area but the recess of the button is now too deep. Disappointing because otherwise it fits well, looks good. Love the color.

I do like this cover, it feels nice and I like the protection it gives my Kindle. I do find it's a tiny bit looser than I would like, it's super flexible and pulls away pretty easily from all sides. This, of course, makes it easy to take the Kindle in and out, but I'm not sure I'll be doing that often. It's definitely not a game-changer though and for the price, I would still totally recommend.

Wanted a thin skin case rather than a book cover type flap case and there aren’t tons of options built precisely for the kindle paper white. This one does everything it’s advertised to do, the blue against my white kindle is beautiful. Reduced one star ONLY because it’s not quite the level of almost sticky grippy of silicon because it’s a stiffer plastic and yet, I really like it, and am keeping it.

I much prefer this to the fold over Kindle cover that I had for many years. Great for using on exer bike stand. Very comfy to hold and no hinge to wear out! Love the purple! I wish Kindle would make button to turn the kindle on and off easier but that is not the fault of the cover.

Wonderful cover for my Kindle. Feels good and not cheap.
